ABOUT SCI CAMPS

STEM Career Immersion Camp (SCI Camp) is a week-long summer program at your site that combines engaging experiences inspired by a variety of STEM careers across multiple disciplines with the fun and friendship of summer camp. Hosting a SCI Camp is the perfect way to boost your students’ confidence and build 21st-century STEM career readiness!

THE EXPERIENCE

SCI Camp is our highly successful, longest-running program. Beginning with 99 campers in 2015, it has served thousands of campers to date. Our model provides an innovative, inquiry-based curriculum, coupled with intensive training that creates a synergy of learning for both instructors and campers.

Focus on real-world STEM career challenges
Programs for grades 3-5 and 6-8, from 15-30 students per week
One-week, full-day themed camps provide more than 35 hours of curricula dedicated to different STEM fields
3-year themed curriculum: new partners start with the Year 1 camp and move through the 3-year cycle
Students and teachers have broad exposure to a variety of STEM disciplines, content, and careers.
Inquiry-based practices and design thinking in the areas of chemistry, biology, computer science, robotics, physics, engineering, and entrepreneurship
All materials shipped to the site for the successful delivery of SCI Camp are yours to keep (exceptions apply)
Paid training and camp stipends for 2 Teachers and 1 Teaching Assistant

Unfortunately, we are not hosting camps on-site at the Science Mill during the summer of 2025. Check back in 2026 for any updates regarding camps at the Science Mill in 2026!
Registrations are by school district, so keep an eye out for registration information directly from them. You may refer to our 2025 SCI Camps Directory for information about your district’s Site Coordinator.
If you need further assistance, contact us here. Be sure to use that link and to include in your email which district you are in, as we are holding camps in 25 different districts this summer! Due to the volume of inquiries, emails with incomplete information may receive a delayed response.
