You can name as many adults as your membership plan allows. For example, a family of 4 membership can have four named adults as members (e.g. Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa). The membership will belong to these individuals.
Any of these members are eligible to trigger the membership benefits. For free admission, they can bring as many immediate dependents (children or grandchildren) as the remainder of the plan allows. For instance, in the same family of 4 plan, Mom can bring 3 kids. On another day, Grandma and Grandpa can bring 2 grandkids.
Immediate dependents do not need to be named, but they will need to be accompanied by a member adult for the membership to apply.

Want to get a membership for more than 6 people? No problem! Every additional member is only $25.

Upon purchasing a Science Mill membership, you will be asked to list the names of the adult members the membership will belong to.
This list of individuals cannot be changed until the next renewal. Children/minors do not need to be named, but they will need to be accompanied by a member adult for the membership to apply. An adult who is not named within the membership, even if they are accompanied by the child of a named adult, cannot claim membership benefits.

When you sign up for a Science Mill membership, your membership will be set to automatic renewal for your convenience. A reminder will be sent to you shortly before your membership expiration. Non-automatic renewal can be selected upon request.
Unlimited free admission to the museum for a whole year. Come back again and again, whether it’s on a random weekend or one of our museum event days like Snow Day, Pollinator Palooza, Dino Discovery Day, Shark Week, Homeschool Days, and more. Access to event activities are also free with admission. Admission does not apply to paid workshops.
Member-only workshop ticket pre-sale period. Get first dibs on tickets to special workshops like Sips + STEM and other seasonal workshops. Past workshops include: holiday ornament making, model plane building, plant propagation.
Discounted admission for member guests. Friends and family that come with you during your visit get discounted admission of $8 (vs $13 per adult or $10.50 per youth).
Member-only hours and events. Members get seasonal exclusive access to the museum during certain days or hours, and special events to show our gratitude for your support!
Flexibility with who you can bring to the Science Mill as part of your family membership. Mom and dad can’t take the kids but the grandparents can? No problem! Listed family members are eligible to claim the admission benefit. Membership is non-transferable. Conditions apply. See “Flexibility Policies” for details.

$30 off Birthday Parties at the museum. Want a birthday party your kiddo and their friends will never forget? Celebrate their milestone at the Science Mill, and get $30 off!
10% off at the Science Store at the museum. Shop for STEM toys, novelty knickknacks, and local merch at a discount!
Reserve our outdoor picnic tables at the Science & Art Park for birthday parties or family gatherings. Just call or email us at least a week in advance so we know your group is coming.
