Community-Covered Saturdays are made possible by generous local businesses who believe every child deserves the chance to explore, imagine, and discover.
When businesses fund tickets, spots open up for families to reserve—first come, first reserved. Many local families would not otherwise be able to visit the Science Mill. Community-Covered Saturdays make hands-on STEM experiences even more accessible.
How It Works
Local businesses provide a set number of admission tickets.
Those tickets are released for families to reserve at no cost.
Any Saturday with available tickets becomes a Community-Covered Saturday.
Reservations are first come, first reserved until all spots are claimed.

Want to Help Create More Community-Covered Saturdays?
Local businesses can fund admission tickets that make these days possible. When tickets are funded, more Saturdays open for families. Every sponsor receives a Community-Covered Saturday storefront window decal—a way to show your support for local families—plus recognition on our website.
Our Kids. Our Community. Our Chance to Give.
This effort is rooted in community. At the Science Mill, we believe cost shouldn’t stand in the way of a child’s curiosity. With Community-Covered Saturdays, local businesses help open the doors for local kids—creating access, opportunity, and moments of discovery that would not happen otherwise.
