Celebrate the heroes in your life this Father’s Day weekend with a Superhero Scavenger Hunt at the Science Mill, June 19 and June 20!

Pick up a helpful hero tracker at the front desk, then start exploring our 50+ hands-on exhibits to find 10 superheroes in hiding—including Batman, Wolverine, Aquaman and Captain Marvel. (Hint: Keep an eye out for QR codes.) This self-guided activity will help you uncover real science that sounds like it’s straight from a comic book: The power to move things with your mind! The power to regrow limbs! The power to control the weather!

Of course, even heroes need some downtime: the Science & Art Park’s shaded pecan grove and picnic tables are the perfect spot to recharge. Farm-to-table treats are available onsite at Lady Bird Lane Cafe or carry-in from one of the great restaurants in downtown Johnson City. (Check out our family road trip guide for suggestions.)
