3D-Vision Ocean Art: Bring your art to life with augmented reality! Choose one of four ocean images to color and design, then use the Quiver app to transform it into an interactive 3D scene.
Sink the Shark Experiment: Did you know that sharks have special tricks to keep from sinking? Stop by our pop-up lab for more shark facts and a hands-on experiment to see what could cause a shark to sink, float or “flink” -- a combination of the two!
One-day only 3D movie screenings of Oceans 3D: Our Blue Planet and The Last Reef 3D: Cities Beneath the Sea
(Movie showtimes will alternate every half hour starting at 10:30am with the last showing at 3:30pm
Live Tortoise Talk presentations by our staff biologist on the differences between sea turtles, turtles and the Science Mill’s African spurred tortoises. Meet our three adult African spurred tortoises and our adorable tiny tortoise hatchlings.
