Bat Bazaar: You’re Guano Love These Bats!

Yep, we’re bat crazy and it’s a good thing!

Join us on October 19 from 11am-2:30pm for the battiest, bazaar-iest day of learning and fun! Come find out why bats are one of our area’s most beneficial native mammals!

Live Presentations at 11:30am and 1:30pm:

Michelle Camara, founder of Southern Wildlife Rehab, is bringing three of her rescued bats for special presentations about White Nosed Syndrome, living with bats and bat rehabilitation, and how local bats benefit humans (hint: they help keep our food crops healthy!).

Southern Wildlife Rehab is also bringing their Bat Cave exhibit that includes hands-on activities and cool bat-related items, like bat guano, skeletons, fossils and more!

Plus! Experience navigating like a bat with our sonar simulator challenge!

We'll have lots of hands-on activities that you do not want to miss, and…

Visitors who dress up in their Halloween costumes will receive FREE Excavation Kits from our Science Store!*

Live presentations and ongoing bat activities are included in museum admission.

*While supplies last.
