Live Presentations at 11:30am and 1:30pm - Theater

Michelle Camara, founder of Southern Wildlife Rehab, is bringing three species of live bats for special talks about White Nosed Syndrome, bat rehabilitation, and how local bats benefit humans. Limited seating available. First come first serve!

Ongoing Bat Bazaar Activities throughout museum from 11am-2:30pm:

Bat Cave Exhibit by the Southwest Wildlife Rehab - Step into the bat cave to get up close with real bat guano, skeletons, fossils, and more!

Bat Video Presentation - Take a seat in our underground cave and see bats like you've never seen before.

Echolocation Station - Can you find food like a bat? Try your hand at our echolocation game!

Sonar Simulator Maze - Experience navigating like a bat in the darkness of night to conquer the sonar simulator challenge!

Bat Mask Coloring Table - Make and take your own unique bat mask, just in time for Halloween!

While you’re at the Science Mill, don't miss these fun daily activities:

Tortoise Talks and Feeding at 2:15pm - Help our staff biologist feed our giant adult tortoises and learn about these amazing creatures.
