Heritage Pack

Students will travel back in time to the mid-1800s at the Johnson Settlement. Living history programs and interactive activities will allow students to see what it took to make a life on the Texas Frontier and how the experiences of his ancestors helped shape our 36th president Lyndon B. Johnson.

Technology Pack

From his childhood in Johnson City through his time in the nation's highest office, technology always played a large role in Lyndon B. Johnson's life. During their trip to LBJ NHP students will explore Lyndon Johnson's Boyhood Home and participate in interactive activities to discover how technology helped to shape Lyndon Johnson's values and eventually his policies as president.

Environment Pack

Lyndon Johnson loved the natural environment and was deeply influenced by it. As president he signed nearly 300 bills into law relating to the environment, natural beauty, and conservation of the nation's lands. Students will explore a restored tall-grass prairie to learn about ecology and conservation and also visit the Boyhood Home to see how Johnson's youth in the Texas Hill Country influenced his policies as president.
